In a collaboration between the American innovative materials company, Eastman<\/a><\/strong>and sustainable fashion brand Reformation<\/a><\/strong>the new collection of wedding dresses redefines eco-responsible elegance in fashion. Reformation has just unveiled three wedding dresses<\/strong> featuring Eastman’s innovative Naia\u2122 Renew ES<\/em> yarn, characterized by its 60 percent certified recycled content and natural silk-like qualities.<\/p>\n\n

Goals : positive impact on the climate by 2025 and circularity by 2030<\/h2>\n\n

\u201cMade from a blend of 40 percent certified recycled materials, 20 percent certified recycled cellulose and 40 percent sustainably sourced wood pulp, Naia\u2122 Renew ES yarn’s enhanced durability reduces waste pollution as well as reliance on virgin materials, resulting in a significantly reduced carbon footprint<\/em>“, Eastman explains in a release. “Its luxurious attributes – elegant drape, silky softness and lustrous sheen – make it an ideal alternative to silk for the environmentally conscious bride<\/em>.”<\/p>\n\n

“We chose this innovative type of yarn to reduce our dependence on virgin silk,”<\/em> emphasizes Carrie Freiman Parry, Reformation’s Director of Sustainability.<\/p>\n\n

Wedding dresses will be available for purchase from January 22 on the website TheReformation.com<\/a><\/strong> and in selected Reformation stores. <\/p>\n\n
