Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris, at the heart of innovation and sustainable fashion

From 1 to 3 July, the Parc des Expositions at Porte de Versailles will become the focal point of the fashion industry with the opening of the following trade shows Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris. More than a thousand international exhibitors serving fashion brands from ready-to-wear to luxury are expected to attend.

The key event for Europe’s textile and clothing industry will host the following trade fairs Avantex and Leatherworld, consolidating the industry’s global offering. This year’s event will focus in particular on suppliers offering innovative products and solutions for sustainable, high-performance fashion.

A new pavilion dedicated to yarn exhibitors with Yarn Expo

For the first time, in collaboration with Yarn Expo, a pavilion will be dedicated to yarn exhibitors, with leading companies from China, India, Pakistan and Taiwan. Leatherworld also promises some new features, with the return of a South African pavilion offering high-quality products, and the introduction of a “Leather Trends” area orchestrated by Italian publisher Edizioni AF.

At Avantex, there will be no shortage of innovations, including exclusive partnerships with the IFA Paris fashion design school and the TCBL association. These collaborations will highlight the latest advances in sustainable fashion and textiles.

Texpertise Econogy and support for culture

Messe Frankfurt will continue to promote the sustainable economy with “Texpertise Econogy”, an initiative launched in February to help visitors make responsible sourcing choices. At the same time, Messe Frankfurt France is affirming its commitment to culture by supporting the Tang Empire exhibition at the Musée national des arts asiatiques – Guimet in Paris.

The organisers have assured us that the opening of the Paris Olympic Games, scheduled for 26 July, will have no impact on the running of the shows. However, they advise participants to book their accommodation and flights in advance, especially during this busy summer period. A concierge service is also available.
