From 2 to 4 July 2024, the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte will once again be hosting Première Vision Paris, the leading event for creative and responsible fashion. Bringing together more than 920 international exhibitors, this edition will unveil the Autumn-Winter 2025/26 collection, while offering a platform for inspiration and exchange for the ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear industries.
Exploring ‘the Extremes’ with technology and eco-design
Première Vision Paris stands out for its rigorous selectivity and its commitment to ever more responsible fashion. According to Florence Rousson, President of the Première Vision Management Board, this year’s show will feature initiatives such as Deadstock and Smart Creation, which focus on innovation and eco-design. The Hosted Guest programme, launched in February 2024, and matchmaking, which has already orchestrated 587 meetings between exhibitors and brands, will continue to strengthen strategic links within the industry. “As far as the theme is concerned, this year we’re exploring the extremes”, she says. So you can imagine a wide choice of absolutely extraordinary products and materials…
The PV Cube will offer an exclusive service for luxury brands, providing privileged access to 300 fabric samples and 50 new leathers, facilitating customised sourcing.
Solutions for the sector
Florence Rousson emphasises the importance of eco-responsibility, which is present at every stage of the event: ‘In the fashion forums, on the exhibitors’ stands, on the conference stage and even in the organisation’. The ‘a better way’ programme, which is celebrating its first anniversary, will highlight efforts to promote sustainable and transparent fashion. The Smart Creation segment will focus on technological solutions and sustainable materials, with categories such as Smart Tech, Smart Materials and Smart Services.
What are the trends for Autumn-Winter 2025/26?
Desolina Suter, Fashion Director of Première Vision, decodes the trends for the Autumn-Winter 2025/26 season for Pearls magazine : « Faced with a host of economic and ecological challenges, the fashion industry is adapting and reinventing itself to ensure it remains prosperous and sustainable. Today, it is outdoing itself in redefining the contours of creative and industrial approaches. For Autumn-Winter 2025/26, there are three main trends. On the one hand, Minimalist Excellence is emerging as a response to the need for simplification and quality, where minimalism becomes synonymous with luxury and harmony in an era of excess. Inclusive Extravagance celebrates diversity and creative freedom, mixing codes to create a new, inclusive aesthetic. Finally, Charnel Expressivity explores the sensual and emotional dimension of fashion, highlighting the diversity of bodies and experiences. This season is rooted in values of quality, longevity and inclusivity, where fashion becomes both an aesthetic choice and a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.. »
These trends will be reflected in two fashion forums (Forum Leather & Accessories, Hall 5 and Forum Inspiration, Hall 6), the PV Colors Book, Première Vision’s colour range, as well as seminars dedicated to trends and eco-design.
With more than 35 conferences planned, participants will be able to explore a wide range of topics relating to eco-responsible fashion and new trends. In fact, a dedicated application and assistance in the Press Lounge will also be available to maximise the visitor experience.
Smart Creation and ‘a better way’ responsible approaches
Desolina Suter has announced that the Smart Creation area will continue to promote exhibitors’ responsible approaches, with innovations divided into Smart Tech, Smart Materials and Smart Services. In conjunction with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Sport & Tech area will be showcasing innovative material developments for sportswear, celebrating the union of performance and elegance.
« a better way’ is increasingly positioning itself as a catalyst for change, responding to the expectations of brands and consumers concerned about the origin and impact of raw materials », she points out.
French leathers and expertise
The ‘360º Leather – From Farm to Tech’ project, launched last February, will be back to meet the challenges facing the leather industry by bringing new key players to the show alongside the tanners.
« This proactive approach aims to shape the future of the leather industry by integrating elements such as new technologies and adaptation to climate change”, says Desolina Suter. It’s worth noting that France’s finest leather craftsmanship will once again be showcased in the ‘Les Tanneurs Français’ area. Here you’ll find renowned tanneries and leather goods manufacturers such as Roux, Arnal, Alran, Carriat and Hiriar.
What are the CSR commitments of the show organisation?
Florence Rousson details Première Vision’s CSR initiatives, aimed at minimising its ecological footprint and maximising its social impact. Among the measures identified by MUTO, the event’s partner, are the recovery of 4,125 kg of materials, a reduction in CO2 emissions and stands that can be reused for seven years.
« The furniture is stored near Villepinte. We have also opted for LED lighting to optimise our energy consumption. We integrate eco-responsibility into our choice of consumables, including signage, carpets, siding and paper documents. », assures the director.
Première Vision Paris, organised by GL Events, is committed to an innovative and dynamic ESG policy in the transition towards more responsible and technological fashion.
