Première Vision Paris closed with a bang on February 8, confirming its position as a leader in the fashion industry. The three-day event served as a dynamic platform for 1,180 international exhibitors, unveiling their innovations to 30,340 visitors from 125 countries.

The introduction of dormant stocks and the “360º Cuir: From Farm to Tech” sector

The February edition was built on several key pillars, including a selective international offering, expert trend analysis, a commitment to creative protection and support for young talent, and a tailored response to current and future industry challenges. Key initiatives include the Marketplace for digitalization, the Smart Creation offer for sustainability, the development of performance codes, and the introduction of a Dormant Stock area. The show also innovated with a technological offering and the “360° Leather: From Farm to Tech” sector, demonstrating a proactive approach to the sector’s challenges.

The program, rich in discussions and exhibitor pitches, as well as studies carried out with the Institut Français de la Mode, helped to enlighten and inform the fashion community. The introduction of new services, such as guided tours, workshops and audio guides for fashion forums, has enriched the visitor experience.

Next edition in July

The next edition, scheduled for July 2-4, 2024, is already generating a lot of interest, not least because of its proximity to the Olympic Games. Gilles Lasbordes, General Manager of Première Vision, is confident about the future, buoyed by the success of the February edition and positive indicators for July.

Première Vision Paris also strengthens its collaboration with Paris je t’aime – Office de tourisme, highlighting the importance of these events in promoting Paris as a key destination for creative fashion. Upcoming events such as Made in France, Première Vision Paris and Blossom Première Vision promise a rich calendar for the global textile industry.

The exhibitor selection criteria, which focus on quality, creativity, sustainability and the ability to meet international demands, guarantee a top-level offering. Initiatives such as the Hosted Guest and Matchmaking programs underline Première Vision’s commitment to sustainable business relationships, responding to the evolving needs of brands and consumers for quality, ecosystem preservation and traceability.

The immersive fashion forum experience, complemented by multilingual audio guides, offered a cutting-edge overview of the latest creative developments, enriching the visitor experience.
